This year in conjunction with World Wish Day, a campaign has been launched by charity Make a Wish who grant wishes to children with life-threatening/limiting conditions in order to provide hope and strength for these children who have often been or are going through a very tough time.
New research they have done has revealed that currently over 63,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish so they have launched a campaign backed by Stephen Mulhern, Mo Gilligan, Bear Grylls, Saffron Barker, Millie Bright and Hannah Cockroft who themselves took part in virtual meets with wish children to hear first-hand about the impact a wish can have. Robin Elliott has been finding out more about the charity.
